Barber on Archway Road, Highgate

Highgate Cuts is the barbershop at the front of The Highgate House. Sharp fades, proper scissor work and slow hot towel shaves, five minutes from Highgate station.

The difference

A barber with a training studio downstairs

Highgate has good barbers. What it does not have is one where you can get your fade, walk downstairs for a private training session and finish with a sunbed, all in one visit.

Regulars book their cut every three or four weeks and pair it with a session.

Questions

Do I need to book or can I walk in?

Both. Booking guarantees your time; walk-ins are welcome when a chair is free.

Do you cut children's hair?

Yes. Boys' cuts are on the menu. Under-16s should come with a parent or guardian.

How often should I book?

Most fades look their best for two to three weeks. Scissor cuts usually last three to five.
